UPDATE: Arrest Made in Charleston Attempted Murder Case

CHARLESTON, W.Va. (WSAZ) -- After a nine-month search, police have arrested a man and charged him with attempted murder.

Daniel Lymon, also know as "PJ," was arrested early Tuesday morning.

Police say Lymon shot Rashaad Goines, 19, over texting Lymon's girlfriend.

The shooting happened last November on Buckhannan Street in Charleston.

Goines was shot in the leg and took himself to the hospital.

CHARLESTON, W.Va. (WSAZ) -- Police are trying to track down a man they say shot a teenager.

Charleston police say they are looking for Daniel "P.J." Lymon.

Lymon is wanted for the attempted murder of 19-year-old Rashad Goines.

Police say Lymon lured Goines to an area on Buchanan Street about 4 p.m. Thursday and shot him in the leg.

Goines took himself to the hospital and is expected to recover.

CHARLESTON, W.Va. (WSAZ) -- A teenager showed up at a hospital in Charleston Thursday afternoon after he was shot.

Police say they believe Rashad Goines, 19, was lured to an area on Buchanan Street about 4 p.m.

That's when, police say, he was shot in the leg.

Goines took himself to the hospital.

Police say they do have a suspect in the case and expect to make an arrest shortly.
