BARBOURSVILLE, W.Va. (WSAZ) -- A string of storage unit break-ins has left one business owner frustrated.

Rick Keaton owns Mini Storage in Barboursville, and says at least 18 units have been broken into.

He says this is the third time someone has stolen things in the past 11 years. Two of those incidents happened just in the past 18 months.

Keaton says no big items have been taken; just small things that could fit into a pocket or jacket.

He says the best way to avoid this from happening is finding the right lock to put on your unit. He suggests a style that is difficult to cut with a bolt cutter.

Keaton says police do have a lead on a suspect or suspects. He says he has also spent between $6,000 to $8,000 on a new camera system and is also working on getting a better gate for the front of the business.
