Three Arrested in Connection with Shake and Bake Meth Lab

HUNTINGTON, W.Va. (WSAZ) – State Police say a disturbance call turns into troopers finding a shake and bake meth lab at a house in the Altizer section of Huntington.

The incident happened at house in 4500 block of Riverside Drive Saturday night.

Troopers say they found a two-liter bottle stuffed with meth making materials in the house.

30-year-old Steven Carter lived in the house. Carter and Eric Mount, 41, of Huntington were both arrested.

Carter was charged with conspiracy, operating a meth lab and counterfeiting. Mount was charged with conspiracy, possession of a controlled substance and counterfeiting.

Troopers said a baggy of what they suspect was the final product was found on Mount.

They also said a counterfeit $50 bill turned up in the home.

A third man was arrested Sunday in connection with the incident. State Police charged Aaron Godderham, 26, of Huntington with conspiracy.

Troopers say Godderham was seen fleeing the house on Saturday. According to the criminal complaint, Carter and Mount told troopers that Godderham had been involved in making meth at the house the past couple of days.
