Three Arrested on Meth Charges in Athens County, Ohio

ATHENS, Ohio (WSAZ) -- Three people recently were arrested on meth-related charges at a home along Huckleberry Road near Coolville, Ohio, according to a news release from the Athens County Sheriff's Office.

Bernard N. Delancy, 50, Mary Delancy 50, and Bernard T. Delancy, 25, were charged with manufacturing methamphetamine.

Deputies executed a search warrant at the home and ended up seizing a meth lab. The Athens Police Department, Ohio University Police Department, Nelsonville Police Department and the Athens County Prosecutor's Office assisted in the investigation. The Coolville Fire Department and the Athens County EMS also assisted.

During the course of the search warrant, a consent search was obtained from another woman to search her residence, a camper located behind the home where the Delancys were arrested. Evidence of another meth lab was found in the camper.

The case will be sent to an Athens County grand jury for more possible charges.
