Three Dead After Fire in Calhoun County

CALHOUN COUNTY, W.Va. (WSAZ) -- The West Virginia State Fire Marshal says three people are dead after a house fire in Calhoun County.

The fire happened on Leading Creek Road in Big Bend, West Virginia. It started around 9:30 Saturday night.

Neighbors say a man in his 60s, his mother, and his daughter lived in the home. They add he had lived there about 30 years.

Neighbors say the man drove school bus for the Calhoun County School System for a few years.

Emergency officials have identified the people who died, but are waiting to notify next of kin before releasing names.

A cause of the fire has yet to be determined.
