UPDATE 12/26/12 @ 6:30 p.m.
BOYD COUNTY, Ky. (WSAZ) -- There was no lineup, just a smart phone with pictures of three suspects in a home invasion in Boyd County.

"I don't recognize any of them" says Jody Thacker. "They don't look familiar to me."

Thacker was hoping she might recognize the men around her family's property. Just last week, her sister-in-law was robbed and beaten in her home in rural Boyd County.

"Why? I just don't understand," Thacker said. "Is it worth it to the lives of the people you invade?"

Sheriff's investigators are looking into a connection between the three suspects and Thacker's home invasion. They're currently in jail facing other charges.

Mike McClements, Gregory Stith and Eric Maddix are behind bars after breaking into a home along U.S. 60. They were caught in the act.

"They confessed to trying to break into the house where the homeowner caught them," Sheriff Terry Keelin said. "They also confessed to a couple of other burglaries that took place in Ashland."

All three men are in the Boyd County Detention Center. Other charges may be pending.
