Three Men Rescued from Under Fallen Tree

LOGAN COUNTY, W.Va. (WSAZ) --Three people were taken to the hospital after a tree fell on them during Tuesday night’s storm.

The incident happened along Big Valley Road, in the Pecks Mill area of Logan County about 9 p.m..

Firefighters with the Henlawson Fire Department say it took more than an hour to cut the men out from under the tree.

They were then transported to Logan Regional Hospital with various injuries. There is no word on their conditions Wednesday morning.

Firefighters say the men were running to avoid the tree when it fell and struck them.
