Three People Arrested after Selling Oxycodone at Grocery Store

BOYD COUNTY, Ky. (WSAZ) – Three people are in jail after selling prescription pills to an undercover officer at a grocery store in Boyd County on Saturday night.

According to a release from the Boyd County Sheriff’s Department, an undercover officer bought two 30-milligram oxycodone tablets from Danny K. Spurlock, 53, Danny J. Spurlock, 20, and Ronda G. Steele, 36, all of Catlettsburg, Ky.

After the deal was made, deputies stopped the three people on Cannonsburg Road and found money and a bag of 30-milligram oxycodone tablets.

All three people have been charged with trafficking in a controlled substance in the first degree and are lodged at the Boyd County Jail.
