Three People Charged with Robbery in Charleston

CHARLESTON, W.Va. (WSAZ) -- Three people in Charleston have been arrested after a violent robbery at a gas station in Kanawha City.

James Daughtery, Taylor Laughlin and a teenager were arrested Friday morning.

They are accused of robbing a truck driver who was parked at the Go-Mart on MacCorkle Avenue.

Police say the truck driver got into a car with them and when he wanted to get out they started hitting him and grabbed his wallet.

They are accused of taking stealing $100 from him.

They are all in jail right now and charged with first degree robbery.
