ORIGINAL STORY
CHARLESTON, W.Va. (WSAZ) -- Three members of the University of Charleston’s football team face drug charges after they were arrested Friday morning.

Police say they intercepted a package of marijuana on its way to a house along Callie Road and then arrested Bryant Leighton, Reggie Dillingham, Markel Vaughn and Ronald Kelley at that house.

Leighton, Dillingham and Kelley, all members of the Golden Eagles football team, have been suspended. They face possession with intent to deliver charges. All are out on bond.

This is the second mass arrest of University of Charleston athletes in the last few weeks. Just last month, three basketball players were arrested on robbery charges.
