CHARLESTON, W.Va. (WSAZ) -- A dramatic truck fire caused a traffic nightmare for drivers heading to work in Charleston.

Flames ripped through a semi-truck carrying onions right near the Leon Sullivan Way exit on I-77.

It happened in the southbound lanes about 6:30 Friday morning.

After the fire was put out, crews have to off load the truck and move it away.

It is expected to be all cleaned up by noon Friday.
