Traffic Stop Ends with Drug Bust in Jackson County

RAVENSWOOD, W.Va. (WSAZ) -- A large stash of drugs was uncovered during a traffic stop.

Ravenswood Police tell WSAZ.com they busted Norman Evans Wednesday night.

Evans was pulled over and, according to the Ravenswood Police Department, immediately officers suspected he was high. Police say they performed a field interview and then searched his car.

Officers found more than 60 grams of marijuana and nearly 30 hydrocodone pills in his car.

Evans was arrested and charged with possession with intent to deliver. He's in the South Central Regional Jail.
