BURLINGTON, Ohio (WSAZ) -- No injuries in a fire that started in a camper and then spread to a nearby trailer.
The fire happened along Township Road 1336 near the intersection of Copperhead Drive in Burlington Ohio. It was reported around 8:30 Tuesday morning.
Volunteer firefighters from four departments were called to the scene.
One man was living in the camper when the fire started. They say no one was living in the attached trailer.
Firefighters say the fire likely started with a small space heater. They say the man told them he woke up to see the curtains on fire.
Both the camper and trailer are total losses.
A nearby house also nearly caught fire.

What was his name? I think we use to live by him. He drove a red dodge. I think his name was rick something? Is he ok now or even still alive? OH THE HOURS
Has anyone else noticed all the bad luck the people of Burlington Ohio have been having? Until a few months ago, I'd never even heard of the place and now it seems like something bad is happening there every few weeks. I hope the new year brings better things for Burlington Ohio.
This is a sad situation, to make matters worse, it's Christmas. My grandmother was also affected by this fire, the entire side of her house was burned as well. This is the 2nd time in 10 months my 69 yr old widowed grandmother has been affected by a fire. The last time was 10 months ago when she fell victim to arson on a brand new 3 month old garage that took $20,000 to build for my uncle to work on cars in his spare time. There have been about 15 fires in the Burlington area in the past 2 yrs or so all obviously by the motives of arson it's plain to see. I hope that before another fire causes someone to lose their home or worse a life that we as a community can come together and possibly resolve this horrifc situation that is plagueing the Fayette Township resident.
