UPDATE: Route 2 Reopens Following Train Vs. Tree and Power Lines

UPDATE: 6/8/14 @ 3:50 p.m.
After being at a standstill for more than 30 minutes, traffic is now moving along Route 2 just outside of Huntington.

The road was blocked by a train, which 911 dispatchers say brought down a tree and some power lines.

No injuries were reported in the incident.

CABELL COUNTY, W.Va. (WSAZ) -- Route 2 just outside of Huntington is blocked by a train that brought down a tree and power lines, according to 911 dispatchers.

It happened about 3:00 p.m., Sunday.

The train has stopped; causing it to block traffic in both directions.

Emergency and power crews are on the scene.

There have been no reports of any injuries.
