HUNTINGTON, W.Va. (WSAZ) – A line of strong thunderstorms toppled trees throughout much of the Tri-State on Friday, including in Huntington.

A tree fell onto a house and a car in the 2200 block of Hollywood Place. The homeowner and her great-granddaughter were inside the home at the time, but they were not hurt.

The road was closed in that area for several hours while crews cleaned up the scene. It was reopen by Friday evening.
