SOUTH POINT, Ohio (WSAZ) -- No injuries in a crash between a school bus and van on Solida Road near South Point, Ohio Friday morning.
14 students and the driver were on the bus from the South Point Local School District.
The accident happened shortly after 7:30 a.m.
The Ohio Highway Patrol tells WSAZ.com the driver of the van was on her cell phone when she rear ended the bus that was slowing down to pickup students.
The trooper says the driver is being cited for failure to maintain a clear distance.
Most of the students on the bus were middle and high school school age. They were put on another bus and taken onto school.
The bus had very minor damage. The van had front end damage from the crash and had to be towed from the scene.
