Troopers Seize $13,000 In Heroin During Traffic Stop

LUCASVILLE, Ohio (WSAZ) – Two men face felony drug charges after Ohio State Highway Patrol troopers seized an estimated $13,000 in heroin during a traffic stop.

Troopers made the stop for a speed violation on U.S. 23 near milepost 7 on Tuesday. That is in Scioto County.

During a search of the SUV, troopers say they found 210 grams of heroin.

The driver, Jarron U. Tabor, 36, of Springfield, Ohio, and passenger, Dorian D. Johnson, 28, of, Dayton, Ohio are each charged with possession of heroin and drug trafficking

Both men are being held in the Scioto County Jail.

If convicted, each could face up to 20 years in prison and a $40,000 fine
