UPDATE 8/23/13 @ 1:20 p.m.
CHARLESTON, W.Va. (WSAZ) -- Interstate 77 in Charleston will be closed in both directions Friday afternoon.
According to Metro 911, the northbound and southbound lanes of I-77 between the Greenbrier Street and Leon Sullivan exits will be closed from 2:30 p.m. until 3:30 p.m. for AEP to reconnect power lines in the area.
