SOUTH POINT, OH (WSAZ) -- Two people face felony theft charges, after police say they admitted to stealing more than 2,000 pounds of copper from a place they were hired to clean.

Police say Kelly Byron and Whitney Pell, both of Huntington, stole more than $17,000 worth of copper from Intermountain Electronics in South Point.

Police say the two women would go to work to clean, then load up their vehicle with copper when they were done.
