VINTON COUNTY, Ohio (WSAZ) --Vinton County Sheriff’s Deputies say they busted an active meth lab at a residence in Wilkesville
The residence was in the 41000 block of SR 160.
Deputies say no was one home when they initially executed the search warrant on Tuesday.
The Sheriff says the suspects arrived at the residence at short time later and were taken into custody.
Steven E. Good, 28, and Casey L. Good, 26, both of Wilkesville, were charged with trafficking in drugs, illegal manufacture of drugs, illegal assembly or possession of chemicals for the manufacture of drugs, possession of drugs, possessing drug paraphernalia, possessing drug abuse instruments, felony child endangerment, and animal abuse neglect.
Gallia County Sheriff's Deputy Sgt. Chris Gill and BCI&I were called in to dismantle and destroy the lab.
Both individuals will have a bond hearing scheduled for Thursday.
The Vinton County Sheriff's Office, Vinton County Prosecuting Attorney Trecia Kimes-Brown, Gallia County Sheriff's Office, Ohio Bureau of Criminal Identification & Investigation, Vinton County Children Services, Vinton County EMS, and Wilkesville Fire Department were involved in the investigation.
