St. Albans, W.Va. (WSAZ) -- Two people have been charged with murder after a woman was found dead in her home in St. Albans.
Police say Nancy Lynch was stabbed to death. Her body was found Sunday, January 26 in her home on Jefferson Avenue.
Police say Timothy Shafer is now charged with murder in the death of Lynch. On Wednesday, Shafer was arrested after police found him driving one of Lynch's cars that was missing from her home, but it wasn't until Friday he was charged in her death.
Police say Jessica M. Wilson, 27, of St. Albans has also been charged with Lynch's murder. Both Shafter and Wilson are expected to be arraigned on the murder charge Friday afternoon.
A third person has been charged in the case, but police say she has not been charged in Lynch's death.
Police say they discovered jewelry was stolen from Lynch and Megan Hughes later pawned the jewelry. Hughes was arrested with Shafer on Wednesday. Again, she has not been charged in Lynch's death.
