PUTNAM COUNTY, W.Va. (WSAZ) -- The four people charged in a violent armed robbery have been indicted by a grand jury.
Deputies say Elvis Russell, Stephanie Horn, Lewis Day and Janel Salmons robbed a couple near Hurricane back in December. One of the victims was severely beaten and spent five days in the hospital.
Russell, of Culloden, was indicted on several charges, including conspiracy to commit robbery in the first degree, conspiracy to commit malicious assault and robbery in the first degree.
Horn, of Scott Depot, was indicted on conspiracy to commit robbery in the first degree, conspiracy to commit malicious assault and robbery in the first degree.
Day, of Hurricane, was indicted on conspiracy to commit robbery in the first degree, conspriacy to commit malicious assault, robbery in the first degree and malicious assault.
Salmons was also indicted on conspiracy to commit robbery in the first degree, conspiracy to commit malicious assault and robbery in the first degree.
They're all expected back in court next week.

Deputies say they are still looking for Elvis Russell in connection with the Hurricane robbery.
Ellis, when arrested, will face two counts of armed robbery. He was last living on Benedict Road in Culloden.

Salmons was arrested Thursday night. Horn and Day were arrested Thursday afternoon.

The victim had to be hospitalized for five days after the beating.
Russell and Salmons have not been arrested.
