Two People Hit by Train; Both Taken to Hospital

KANAWHA COUNTY, W.Va. (WSAZ) -- Two people were taken to the hospital after they were hit by a train Friday night, according to 911 dispatchers.
It happened about 11:00 p.m. in Jefferson at the intersection of MacCorkle Avenue and Kanawha Terrace.
Dispatchers say they received reports that the two people were laying on the tracks when the train hit them.
They were taken to the hospital, but there's no word on their names or conditions.
