Ironton Women Arrested Following Undercover Drug Buy

BOYD COUNTY, Ky (WSAZ) – Two women have been arrested on drug charges following an undercover drug buy in Ashland.
Boyd County Sheriff’s Deputies say Mary E. McCann, 55, and Bonnie J. Triplett, 59, both of Ironton, Ohio, sold 10 Oxycodone pills to confidential informants at a restaurant on Winchester Avenue in Ashland.
Deputies say after arresting the women they found more pills and money.
McCann was charged with trafficking and possession, while Triplett was charged with trafficking.
The women were taken to the Boyd County Detention Center.
