Copper Theft Ring Busted in Lincoln County
West Virginia State Police in Hamlin tell WSAZ.com Samuel Brumfield and Justin Johnson were arrested Thursday evening.

LINCOLN COUNTY, W.Va. (WSAZ) -- A copper theft ring is out of commission.
West Virginia State Police in Hamlin tell WSAZ.com Samuel Brumfield, 22 and Justin Johnson, 21 were arrested Thursday evening.
Troopers say they stole about $11,000 worth of copper wire in just a little more than a week.
The copper was taken on four separate occasions from Frontier Communications in Branchland.
Brumfield and Johnson are charged with four counts of felony burglary, destruction of property, grand larceny and conspiracy.
They are now in the Western Regional Jail.

Well... I live in this town and i am even kin to one of the people that got in trouble.. When these two was in jail... The phone line was stolen again... And these two was being held... So.. Epic fail.. This "Ring" Was just two people.. And was not the only ring..

sam brumfield should rot in jail. he was involved in the robbery of the guyan river fire dept. cops knew he did it and let him walk. if they would start putting these people in jail where they belong, a lot of these thefts would stop. if the phone company wants any justice they need to make sure the trail is not in lincoln county.

both need to pay for what they done. someone said the brumfield needed to pay more and the johnson boy had a family and needed to do what he had to. but truth be known that stolen money was put on drugs and not the family. just sayin they should get what they deserve.
