Tygart Valley Football Game Turns Deadly after Student is Stabbed

RANDOLPH COUNTY, W.Va. (WSAZ) --State police in Elkins say the Tygarts Valley High School football game turned deadly Friday after a student was stabbed.

It all happened at about 7 p.m.

They say two teenage boys were having an argument outside of George Ward School when one pulled out a knife and stabbed the other.

The victim was rushed to the hospital where he later died.

The boy believed to be responsible is now in a juvenile detention center.
