UPDATE: Search Continues for Cabell County Robber

HUNTINGTON, W.Va. (WSAZ) -- Police are still searching for the suspect in an armed robbery that happened Saturday night.

It happened about 6 p.m. at the Sun Shack along route 60 in Cabell County.

Police say the man had a gun and got away with $180.

Witnesses say the suspect was wearing a black hat, a purple long-sleeve shirt with a black vest over it and blue jeans.

The store does have a surveillance system.

CABELL COUNTY, W.Va. (WSAZ) -- The Cabell County Sheriff's Office and West Virginia State Police are on the scene of an armed robbery.

Troopers say it happened at the Sun Shack at Eastern Heights Plaza about 6:00 p.m. Saturday.

Troopers say the suspect showed a silver pistol and got away with $180. They believe the suspect got into a vehicle behind Speedway and fled the scene.

WSAZ has a crew headed to the scene.
