CHARLESTON, W.Va. (WSAZ) -- It's going to be a busy few weeks at the Charleston Civic Center.
The West Virginia Hunting and Fishing Show kicked off Friday in Charleston. It's just one of several big events scheduled to be at the civic center in the next few weeks.
This weekend's event brings hunters and fisherman in contact with a variety of vendors and organizations that provide goods and services for the sports.
According to the event's website, the show features exhibitors from as far away as Alaska, New Zealand, Spain, and South Africa.
The National Rifle Association (NRA) is also expected to be at this year's event.
The show will be opened until 9 p.m. Friday. Then, on Saturday the show is open from 9 a.m. until 9 p.m. and then on Sunday from 9 a.m. until 5 p.m.
The auction for the hunting and fishing trip and related items will be held on Saturday at 5 p.m.
Tickets are $7 for adults and $1 for children 6-12 years of age. Children under six are free.
This is the 26th year for the hunting and fishing show in Charleston.
Next week the West Virginia International Auto Show rolls into town, followed by Monster Jam, West Virginia Sports Show and Disney on Ice.
