CHARLESTON, W.Va. (AP) - The West Virginia Supreme Court has refused to give an ex-agent for NFL wide receiver Randy Moss his law license back.
Dante DiTrapano claimed he no longer suffers from the drug addiction that led him to federal prison.
A state Lawyer Disciplinary Board panel had recommended reinstatement, but the justices ruled that DiTrapano failed to show that he "possesses the integrity and moral character necessary" to resume practicing law.
The court annulled DiTrapano's license in 2007, about a year after Moss dropped him.
DiTrapano, his wife and three others were arrested in 2006 in a Florida hotel room, where police found 73 pieces of crack and 21 grams of powder cocaine.
DiTrapano later admitted to submitting false information on a loan application and using some proceeds for himself.
