WEST PORTSMOUTH, Ohio (WSAZ) -- A man was arrested in connection with a weekend traffic stop on Slab Run Road that turned up a mobile meth lab, according to an Ohio State Highway Patrol news release.
Johnathon Miller, 23, of West Portsmouth was charged with possession of chemicals to manufacture meth, tampering with evidence and two counts of drug possession.
He was taken to the Scioto County Jail.
Miller was arrested Saturday afternoon after troopers pulled over a 1998 Chevrolet truck for an equipment violation. Miller was a passenger in the truck.
A 27-year-old West Portsmouth woman driving the truck was cited for operating a vehicle without a license.
During a search of the truck, troopers found about 1 gram of meth, a Roxicodone pill and chemicals/components used to make meth.
