SCIOTO COUNTY, Ohio (WSAZ) -- An early morning fire in Wheelersburg has been ruled arson.
The fire happened just before 3 a.m. Wednesday at 127 Locust Street in Wheelersburg, Ohio.
According to a release from the Ohio State Fire Marshal's Office, investigators have ruled out all accidental causes and determined that the fire was intentionally set.
No information is being released about how the fire was started.
A Blue Ribbon Arson Reward of up to $5,000 is being offered to anyone with information about the person or persons responsible for the crime. Anyone with information should call the Division of State Fire Marshal at 1-800-589-2728, the Scioto County Sheriff’s Office at 740-354-7566, or the Porter Township Fire Department at 740-574-6030.
No one was home at the time of the fire, and no one was injured.
The fire was discovered by neighbors.
