SCIOTO COUNTY, Ohio (WSAZ) -- A Wheelersburg man is facing charges in connection with several burglaries.
According to a release from Scioto County Sheriff Marty Donini, Zachary Hightower, 27, of Wheelersburg, Ohio, is being charged with four counts of burglary.
The robberies happened in Porter and Vernon Townships during the month of September.
According to the release, a detective with the Scioto County Sheriffs Department was attempting to recover a stolen dirt bike when he noticed Hightower's car in the driveway. The detective and deputies were able to enter the home and found Hightower hiding in the bathroom.
Hightower was arrested without incident and was taken to the Sheriff's Department for questioning.
According to the release, detectives were able to recover some of the stolen property.
Hightower is being held in lieu of $40,000 bail. He is scheduled to be back in court Monday.
