GREENUP COUNTY, Ky. (WSAZ) -- A wife is behind bars accused of stabbing her husband early Saturday morning.
Deputies in Greenup County say that Thomas Blanton told them his wife, Victoria Blanton, attacked him following an argument at their home on Elwood Lane in Wurtland, Ky.
Blanton says following the alleged stabbing he drove himself to his workplace and called 911.
Thomas Blanton, 29, was first taken to an Ashland hospital and later transferred to a Huntington hospital where he was treated and released later that day.
Victoria Blanton, 24, was arrested and charged with first-degree assault. She is behind bars at the Greenup County Detention Center.
