UPDATE 1/31/13 @ 10:45 .m.
PUTNAM COUNTY, W.Va. (WSAZ) -- A woman from Putnam County is headed to prison after she admitted to having sex with a 14-year-old boy.

Summer Burford was sentenced on Thursday.

Burford was arrested in November 2011 after police say the boy's father found her and his son locked in a bedroom at her home in Winfield.

Burford was originally charged with six counts of sexual assault and six counts of sexual abuse, but later pleaded guilty to just one count of each.

On Thursday, the judge sentenced Burford to one to five years in prison on the sexual assault charge and 90 days in jail for the sex abuse charge. Burford will serve the two sentences concurrently, meaning at the same time.

During the hearing, Burford apologized for what happened.

"I would love to take it back, turn back time, but that's impossible. You know, the 11 days that I was in jail, it just, it reformed me to, to fall down on my knees and ask for forgiveness," Burford said.

Burford was taken to jail after the hearing.
