Woman Crashes Over Embankment to Avoid Deer

WAYNE COUNTY, W.Va. (WSAZ) -- A woman drove over an embankment and crashed into a tree after avoiding a deer Friday morning.

It happened about 9:30 a.m. on Beech Fork Road off of US 152 in Wayne County.

The driver tells WSAZ.com that she swerved to avoid a deer and went over an embankment and hit a telephone pole.

At first it was reported that the driver was trapped in the vehicle, but she was able to make it out on her own.
