POINT PLEASANT, W.Va. (WSAZ) – W.Va. State Police say a body found along the riverbank in Point Pleasant is that of a missing Gallipolis, Ohio, woman.
Trooper S.C. Allen says the body of Lisa Miller, 43, was found about 5:30 Wednesday night.
Family members reported Miller missing last Wednesday.
Gallipolis Police said Miller had been living along the riverbank near Riverview Drive in Gallipolis. This was also the area she was last seen.
Troopers say dental records and tattoos were used to identify Miller.
No word on a cause of death at this time.

Police say Miller's family reported her missing around 6 p.m. Wednesday.
Officers say she may have entered the river.
Crews searched the riverbank, along with other locations she may have gone.
The Gallia County Sheriff's Office also responded with their boat and searched the riverbank. The search was called off around 11 p.m. Wednesday due to the conditions of the river. They hope to search again Thursday.
Miller is 5'5", 100 pounds, has sandy brown hair, and hazel eyes. She was last seen wearing blue jeans and a brown windbreaker.
Police say Miller has worked at two car washes on Eastern Avenue, most recently at the one next to French Nails.
