UPDATE: Work Release Escapee Turns Himself In

HUNTINGTON, W.Va. (WSAZ) -- An inmate who walked away from the Huntington Work Release Center is back in custody.

The West Virginia Division of Corrections says Terry Lewis, 37, turned himself in at the work release center Tuesday morning.

He was reported to have escaped on Monday.

Lewis was serving a 1-5 year sentence for the manufacturing and delivery of a controlled substance in Kanawha County.

He will now face more charges.

HUNTINGTON, W. Va. (WSAZ) -- An inmate at the Huntington Work Release Center has escaped.

Police are searching for Terry Lewis. He was serving a 1-5 year sentence for the manufacturing and delivery of a controlled substance in Kanawha County.

Lewis is 37 years old, 6'0 tall and weighs 203 pounds. He has "FUBU" tattooed on his left hand fingers, a star on top of his right hand and "BSHG" tattooed on his right hand fingers. He also has a tattoo of a gun with the words "Bust at Must" on his right forearm.
