Worker Pleads Guilty to Stealing from Treasurer's Office

LAWRENCE COUNTY, Ohio (WSAZ) -- A former worker at the Lawrence County, Ohio Treasurer's Office has admitted to stealing more than $2,000 from the county.
Mindy Joseph, 31, of Ironton, pleaded guilty to tampering with evidence, identity fraud and two counts of theft.
Joseph was sentenced to 4 years of community control. She must also pay back $2,251.88 in restitution.
If Joseph gets in any trouble during community control, she will be sentenced to three years in jail.
