CHARLESTON, W.Va. (WSAZ) -- A man from Charleston is accused of taping himself performing sexual acts with several children at his home.
Clay Culhane Counts, 51, of Charleston, was arrested and charged Wednesday with fourteen counts of first-degree sexual assault, use of a minor in filming sexually explicit conduct and sexual abuse by parent, guardian or custodian.
Kanawha County Sheriff's Deputies say Counts was arrested in September following an investigation where deputies found him to be downloading and distributing images of child pornography using the Internet.
Deputies say Counts' latest arrest was made after video tapes were found at his home which showed him performing sexual acts with multiple children.
According to the criminal complaint, the children were in Counts care, custody and control at the time of the incident.
Since then, multiple victims have been identified. According to the criminal complaint, the victims were under the age of 14 when the recordings were made.
