UPDATE: Huntington Man Sentenced to Federal Prison on Drug Charge

HUNTINGTON, W.Va. (WSAZ) -- A Huntington man was sentenced to prison Monday for illegally distributing thousands of illegal prescription pills in and around Huntington.

In April, Floyd Lewis Miller, 64, pleaded guilty to federal charges of conspiracy to distribute Oxycodone.

The Court determined that Miller was responsible for distributing a total of 3,500 oxycodone pills during the conspiracy. The pills were brought from Detroit to Huntington.

Miller was sentenced Monday to eight years and one month in federal prison during a hearing in U.S. District Court in Huntington.

HUNTINGTON, W.Va. (WSAZ) -- A traffic stop leads to three people being arrested on drug charges.

According to the criminal complaint, Huntington police arrested Uniqueka Wallick, 24, of Detroit, Dwaine Jackson, 52, of St. Clair Shores, Michigan, and Floyd Miller, 63, of Huntington.

Following a search of the car, officers say they found 100 Oxycontin pills and a large amount of cash.

A K-9 unit alerted the officers to the possible presence of drugs in the car. The traffic stop happened in the 1600 block of 9th Avenue at 1 p.m. Monday. The car has a New Jersey license according to court documents.

The three face felony drug charges.

Their bond was set at $50,000 each. All three are now in the Western Regional Jail.
