HUNTINGTON, W.Va. (WSAZ) -- Undercover operations by the Huntington Police Department ended with 40 arrests warrants and 21 people behind bars.
According to a release from HPD, the Special Emphasis Unit with HPD started making undercover drug purchases and prostitution stings back in January.
After more than six months of work, investigators were able to obtain arrest warrants for 40 people and search warrants for two homes in town.
At 7:20 a.m. Thursday officers went to homes at 819 19th Street and 1029 Monroe Ave.
Officers seized a small amount of crack cocaine, imitation crack cocaine packaged for sale, scales and other packaging material and drug paraphernalia from the home on 10th Street. When officers searched the home on Monroe Ave. it was found to be in deplorable conditions and the Cabell Huntington Health Department posted a "Do Not Occupy" sign on the home before it was secured.
By 3 p.m. Thursday 21 people were arrested.

Amy Stamper - attempt to commit delivery of a controlled substance
Josh Howard - delivery of an imitation controlled substance
Tina Adkins - delivery of a controlled substance
Bridgette Sizemore - soliciting prostitution
Angel Music - capias
Terence Jones - capias
Perdita Fitisemanu - delivery of a controlled substance
Angela Williamson (Bryant) - two counts of delivery of a controlled substance
Richard Tyler - delivery of imitation controlled substance
Bobby Trout - delivery of imitation controlled substance
Billie Jo Stevenson - accessory to a delivery of a controlled substance
David Thacker - delivery of controlled substance
Tiffany Bailey - soliciting prostitution
Brooke Sullivan (Winters) - soliciting prostitution, city warrant
Kristen Prichard - soliciting prostitution, receiving/transporting stolen property
Larry Webb - capias, obstructing
Ronald Scott - possession with intent
