HUNTINGTON, W.Va. (WSAZ) -- Managers at a Huntington restaurant say an employee stole more than $4,000 from the business.
According to the police report, employees at Roosters noticed on May 27 that a large sum of money had been taken from several different places at the restaurant.
The employee believed to have taken the money was then confronted by managers, and admitted to taking it.
That employee then signed a promissory note agreeing to pay back the money.
The report says after paying back approximately $400, the employee not only stopped paying the money, but began stealing again.
The employee was let go on June 20. The report was filed with Huntington Police on May 27.
