HUNTINGTON, W.Va. (WSAZ) -- Along with the worry and heightened sensitivity to the swine flu virus comes big money.

From the local doctor's office to major marketing firms, preventing and/or treating swine flu is raking in the cash.

Tracey Keith, a manager at Fruth Pharmacy, said the buzz about swine flu is generating a new interest in tried and true products such as hand sanitizer. Actually, interest in all things anti-viral is booming. Even major companies are re-packaging common products with a hot catch phrase. If it kills flu germs, it's selling fast.

Doug Mocrief, the office manager at Tri-State Medical Center, said his staff is feeling the effects of the swine flu panic.

"People are scared and worried," he said. "We’re seeing a lot of calls."
