Interstate Exit Ramp Now Open After Crash

HUNTINGTON, W.Va. (WSAZ) -- Cabell County 911said the 5th Street exit ramp of Interstate 64 in Cabell County reopened around 7:25 a.m. Friday.

The westbound ramp had been closed after a car crash.

HUNTINGTON, W.Va. (WSAZ) -- A portion of Interstate 64 in Cabell County has reopened after an accident, but the 5th Street Exit remains closed.

Police on scene tell WSAZ.com a driver swerved to miss hitting a dog when he lost control of his vehicle. The vehicle went off the Interstate, and the man was thrown out.

He was taken to the hospital, officers on scene say he was talking when being put in the ambulance.

HUNTINGTON, W.Va (WSAZ) - Cabell 911 dispatchers say the westbound lanes of Interstate 64 are shut down because of an accident.

Dispatchers say the highway could be closed for at least an hour.
