Explosion Blows Off Outbuilding's Roof

HUNTINGTON, W.Va. (WSAZ) -- An explosion late Thursday night rumbled through one neighborhood.

The explosion was heard in the Rotary Park area about 9:30 p.m.

Firefighters told WSAZ.com it was the result of a fire at an outbuilding along upper Glendale Avenue.

Fire crews say oxygen tanks and other flammable objects exploded inside the building. It even blew the roof off.

The outbuilding was destroyed. No one was hurt and the flames did not spread to the house.
