Arrest Made in Robbery

HUNTINGTON, W.Va. (WSAZ) -- Huntington Police have arrested a man they say stole pills and foreign currency from a home while wielding an ax.

Wayne Leadman has been arrested and charged with felony robbery and fleeing charges.

Police say Leadman and the victim went to the victim's home on North Queens Court where Leadman grabbed an ax and took off with the pills and money.

It happened late Monday night.

Leadman was caught shortly afterward, and is in the Western Regional Jail.
