Attempted Armed Robbery Reported at Huntington Gas Station

HUNTINGTON, W.Va. (WSAZ) -- Police are searching for a man they say tried to rob a gas station clerk at knifepoint.
It happened about 10:45 p.m. Thursday at the Rich Gas Station in the 200 block of Bridge Street in the Guyandotte area of Huntington.
Huntington Police tell WSAZ.com the man walked inside, pulled out a knife and demanded cash. When the clerk would not comply, the suspect took off.
Police searched the area but so far no arrests have been made.
Anyone with information is asked to call Huntington Police.
