HUNTINGTON, W.Va, (WSAZ) -- A police chase in Huntington ends with the driver crashing his car into a rock wall and taking off on foot.
The pursuit began just after 11 a.m. Friday when a Huntington Police officer encountered the car traveling in the wrong direction in the Hal Greer viaduct.
The driver took off after nearly running into the officer. Police say he backed up and whipped his vehicle around and sped away.
He ended up crashing at the corner of 11th Avenue and 26th Street.
Police spent about 30 minutes searching the area for the driver but never found him.
