UPDATE 4/23/13 @ 6:15 p.m.
HUNTINGTON, W.Va. (WSAZ) -- Huntington Police are looking for a man named "Sonny" in connection with a deadly shooting investigation.

According to police, two men showed up at an apartment at 1226 10th Ave. where Sonny was Sunday night. When they got inside, an argument broke out and several gunshots were exchanged.

Karass Williams, one of the people who showed up at the apartment, died in the shooting. Williams, 38, was from Detroit. Sonny hasn't been seen since.

Police are trying to track him down, hoping he can help Huntington Police detectives piece together what happened that night.

They aren't sure if Sonny is his real name or just a street name.

"We believe he may be from the Michigan area," Huntington Police Lt. John Williams said. "I don't know about Detroit specifically. But from the information we are getting, he is from out of town. Just, we need to identify him and find out his role in this and just what exactly happened between the two men."

Police say at this point there is nothing to indicate that this shooting was drug related.

"What we can say at this point, which I think is especially important for residents, is that it was not a random act," Huntington Police Chief Skip Holbrook said. "It was not a home invasion. It was parties that had been involved in a disagreement, disturbance, and it escalated into gunfire."
