BARBOURSVILLE, W.Va. (WSAZ) -- Firefighters were able to contain the flames after a fire tore through a garage in Barboursville.
The fire broke out in the 100 block of Martin Drive off Route 60 just after 5 p.m. Sunday.
Fire officials tells WSAZ.com when they arrived flames were shooting from the roof of one home. The fire was so intense it damaged the neighbor's home as well.
No one was inside the home when it caught fire. Officials suspect the fire started from the car parked inside the garage.
Three fire departments responded and got the fire under control.
No word on the cost of the damage to both homes.

One home has flames shooting through the roof and can be seen for miles. Dispatchers say the flames spread to a second home.
It is still unclear whether or not anyone was inside when the flames broke out and EMS are on scene.
Several departments have responded to assist Barboursville Fire Department.
